The wrong tomato will kill.

From a roof top in Italy in 1973 Peter Orwitt from Boon Arkansas threw what he thought an over ripen tomato. It turned out to have a very rare virus Guillain-Barre syndrome only found in field mice in north Vietnam. The tomato hit 23 year old Allighiero Montoya an Italian resident. The festival was close to being cancelled by then Italian councilman Vincent J. Gentile but the out cry from the people over rode his move.
