From a roof top in Italy in 1973 Peter Orwitt from Boon Arkansas threw what he thought an over ripen tomato. It turned out to have a very rare virus Guillain-Barre syndrome only found in field mice in north Vietnam. The tomato hit 23 year old Allighiero Montoya an Italian resident.
